The Steele Pilates Complete Reformer Certification ON DEMAND course contains three separate courses into one full certification.
You will learn how to teach, cue, correct and modify Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced Reformer exercises.
Teri teaches her unique sequences and variations and her methods for building client-specific sessions and classes.
The first of three Steele Pilates Reformer Certification courses, the Basic Reformer Certification, will introduce you to the Reformer and give you enough exercises to be able to take yourself and/or clients through a comprehensive basic-level session or class.
Teri discusses the anatomy of the Reformer, how to use and change the settings for each individual and then, through a series of videos, teaches you the proper cuing and execution of the basic Reformer exercises.
You receive the lecture/demonstration videos, a sample basic-level Reformer class, and the course syllabus. This can be taken alone or as the first step towards full Steele Pilates Reformer certification by completing Intermediate and Advanced Level courses.
Upon completion of the course, private Zoom or in-person (in NYC) sessions will be scheduled for supervised teaching and feedback.
The second in a series of three, the Steele Pilates Reformer Certification Intermediate Level Exercises course, begins with a review of the basic exercises as required to precede the next level of intensity and choreography.
Teri leads you through the intermediate-level Reformer exercises, explaining how, when, and why to level up and the proper cuing, setup, and modifications for each exercise.
Do this course if you are already certified as continuing education or a review (of course, there are also some of Teri's variations in this course as well).
If you complete the entire Steele Pilates Reformer Certification, this course should begin upon successful completion and test out of the basic level course.
Teri teaches advanced-level exercises, sequences, and variations in this third Steele Pilates Reformer Certification course.
This course can be done alone for certified instructors as continuing education or Pilates enthusiasts looking for ways to level up their sessions. The advanced exercises are not necessarily to be performed altogether, but choosing a few to work up towards when it is prudent to do so, can make a session or class very exciting.
Teri explains the exercises that must be done before each advanced exercise in terms of physical, mental, and neuromuscular preparation. Spotting techniques are also discussed.
You are almost there if you take this as the final portion of full certification! Upon completing this online course, you will also work privately with Teri on Zoom or in the studio (NYC) for supervised practice.
